Description

German Model 71/84 Bolt Action Military Rifle. Serial No. 6485, 11 x 60R caliber, 31 ½-inch barrel with standard military sights. Manufactured by Spandau and with a 1887 date on the right sidewall. German proof marks with regimental ownership marks stamped on the buttplate: K.A.R./E.4.239. Blue finish with receiver and bolt and buttplate in the white. All visible numbers matching. Tubular magazine. Two barrel bands, two sling swivels and stacking rod. Walnut stock with Imperial German cartouches present.
Condition: Excellent. Retaining approximately 90-95% finish, the remainder with light surface rust and wear to the extremities. Trigger group worn and scratched with extensive flaking to bluing. Stock with some light handling scratches and bruises. Bore bright.
