Description

German Model 1871/84 Bolt Action Rifle. Serial no. 9343, 11mm, 31 ½-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Blued. Bolt numbers don't match the receiver and barrel. Various German proofs on component parts. Straight hardwood stock with three barrel bands and three sling swivels. This model was the first Mauser repeater, having been a modification of the single-shot Model 1871.

Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 55-65% finish with scattered light pitting to the metal surfaces. Stock with scattered light dents and abrasions. Mechanically sound with a rather dark and worn bore.
