German Büscher Sportmodell German Labor Front Bolt Action Rifle. Serial no. 5254, .4mm lang caliber, 26-inch barrel with standard military sights. Receiver and barrel numbers matching. Blued finish. Top of barrel marked Wehrmanngewehr Kal. 4mm lang; side of barrel marked J.G.A. Germaniawaffenwerk AG Zella-Mehlis/Thür; top of receiver with DAF insignia and marked Eigentum des Sportamtes and Büscher Sportmodell / Kraft durch Freude. Military style walnut stock with two barrel bands, cleaning rod, metal buttplate and original leather sling.Condition: Excellent. Displays modest handling wear, otherwise a beautiful example.
