Description
German bcd/ar 43 Gustloff/Mauser Borsigwalde Dual Code K98k Bolt Action Rifle.Serial no. 9969e, 7.92x57 caliber, 24 ½-inch barrel with adjustable rear sight and hooded fixed front sight. Blued finish. Left side of receiver marked "Mod.98". Top of receiver marked "[eagle over 26 waffenamt] / bcd/ar / 43". Barrel with "eagle over 26" waffenamt. Bolt, rear sight, barrel bands, trigger guard and floor plate with matching numbers. Underside of hand guard and stock channel numbered to rifle. Unmarked cupped butt plate. Milled barrel bands, trigger guard and floor plate. Laminated stock with no visible markings as is proper. Complete with cleaning rod and brown leather sling. Sling buckle marked "L&F". No import stamps.
Condition: Very good. Blued finish worn thin in spots on the barrel, receiver and front band. Scattered surface rust and light pitting. Clean, bright bore. Stock with scuffs, dings and dents commensurate with moderate to heavy use.
