Description
French MLE 1886 R35 Bolt Action Rifle.Serial no. 74546 [receiver and floorplate], 8mm caliber, 18 3/4-inch barrel with fixed front sight and adjustable rear ladder sight. Blued finish. Right side of barrel marked: MA C 1939. Smooth hardwood straight stock and fore-end. Sling swivels. Metal buttplate.
Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 90-92% finish with scattered signs of handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Dings and scuffs present to wood. Action good. Bright bore.
