Description
British No. 5 Mk I Bolt Action Jungle Carbine. Serial No. P1952, .303 caliber, 20½-inch barrel with standard military front sights. Bolt and receiver numbers matching. Adjustable rear sight. Marked "NO5MKIROF(F)/ 7/45" on the left receiver side rail. Remnants of typical British painted on finish on the receiver and other metal parts. Wood stock with padded rubber buttplate and sling swivel. Import marked.Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 45-50% of the painted on military finish worn thin at the high spots. Stock and rubber butt pad worn. "113" property mark stenciled in white the underside of the stock. Retains the original Gimbels sales tag with a $24.95 price.
