Description
British Enfield No. 4 Mark 1 Bolt Action Rifle with Bayonet.Serial no. 18361, .303 caliber, 23 1/2-inch barrel with standard military sights. Blued finish. 1943 stamped to left side at wrist. Smooth walnut stock and forearm. Sling swivels. Inlaid number 3 to left side of stock. 7-inch bayonet with scabbard. Buttplate with cleaning rod reservoir.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with scattered areas of thinning, handling wear and patches of pitting. Noticeable scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Strong bore. Crisp action.
