Description
Boxed Winchester Model 70 Safari Express Bolt Action Rifle. Serial no. G319701, 375 H&H Mag., 24-inch Match Grade cut stainless steel express round barrel. Satin glass bead blast finish with Semi-fancy American walnut "Express" configuration stock with cheekpiece. Red rubber recoil pad marked Winchester. According to accompanying letter, the style of checkering on the stock was a Standard Model 70 point pattern [18 LPI]. Other features on the gun, confirmed on the letter, Unknurled bolt handle, hand engine turned bolt body, single leaf rear express sight with ramped front sight with hood and so on. Contained in original Winchester tan color box with red lettering and literature. Gun appears to have never been fully assembled.Condition: NIB. Showing minor handling. Box with light scuffs to outside.
