Description
Austrian Steyr Mannlicher Schoenauer Model 1908 Bolt Action Rifle. Serial no. 15743 [frame and barrel], 8mm, 20 1/2-inch barrel with ramped front sight and folding rear sight. Blued finish. Dual trigger. Checkered walnut pistolgrip stock with cheekrest and fore-end. Hard rubber grip cap. Mounted swivel sling mount and leather shoulder sling. Grooved metal buttplate.Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 92-95% finish with thinning to relief edges, handling wear and very fine patches of pitting. Wood showing scattered scuffs, dings and bruises. Action good. Strong bore. Leather displaying light fading and cracking.
