Description
Austrian Mannlicher Model 1950 Bolt Action Rifle.Serial no. 8692 [barrel, receiver and bolt], .30-06 caliber, 24 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight and folding leaf rear sight. Blued finish. Top of receiver marked: MADE IN AUSTRIA / ORIGINAL / MANNLICHER / SCHOENAUER / MODEL 1950. Dual triggers. Checkered walnut pistolgrip stock with ebony forearm tip and grip cap. Sling swivels and leather shoulder sling. Ventilated rubber recoil pad. Scope mount rings.
Provenance: The Don Otterson Collection.
Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 90-92% finish, with scattered signs of handling wear an fine patches of pitting. Heavy dings and scuffs present to wood. Minor cracking to leather. Action Good. Moderately pitted bore.
