U.S. Springfield Model 1855 Percussion Pistol with Shoulder Stock.
Unserialized, .58 caliber, 12-inch barrel with fixed front sight and rear folding sight. Maynard tape primer. Lock marked: 1855 and U.S. / SPRINGFIELD. Top of barrel marked: 1855. Smooth walnut stock with brass furniture and two sling swivels. Swivel ramrod. Butt with the number 5. Sold along with walnut shoulder stock stamped with the number 7 , sling swivel and brass US marked buttplate.

Condition: Very good as partially cleaned. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with handling wear and scattered pitting. Wood showing scuffs, scratches and bruising. Noticeable crack to left side of stock at wrist and to the right side along the curve of the handle. Action mechanically sound. Brass furniture showing a smooth light olive tone with patches of pitting.
