U.S. Marked Colt 1860 Army Richards Revolver. Serial no. 145233 (triggerguard and butt), .44 centerfire caliber, 8-inch barrel. Assembly no. 1030 (barrel, frame, wedge, triggerguard, recoil shield, loading gate, barrel lug, loading channel plug and cylinder pin). Inspector's initial A on triggerguard indicating Ainsworth inspected. U.S. on left barrel lug. Single line New York address on barrel. Spacer observed between lug and frame. One-piece walnut grips. Gun has been cut for a shoulder stock. Condition: Fair to good. Metal a mottled gray patina with light to moderate pitting throughout. Ejector rod a possible replacement. Spring absent. Grips are good with heavy wear, soiling and chips at toe. From the Michael Yeck Collection.
