Description

Remington Model 1871 Rolling Block Single-Shot Army Pistol. NVSN, .50 caliber, 8-inch round barrel with integral sight. Blued finish. Case-hardened rolling block action, the left side marked: REMINGTON ILION, N.Y. U.S.A. / PAT. MAY 3D. NOV. 15TH, 1864 APRIL 17TH, 1866. Varnished walnut fore-end and on-piece grip with CRS inspector's cartouche.
Condition: Retaining approximately 60-70% fading and thinning finish with scattered wear and noticeable patches of pitting. Grips showing dings, scuffs and scratches. Action is good. Bright bore.
