Description
Remington Model 1866 Navy Rolling Block Pistol. NVSN, .50 caliber centerfire, 8 1/2-inch round barrel with anchor at breech. Nickel-plated finish. Standard Remington patent dates. No inspector marks visible. Spur trigger. Walnut grips and fore-end. Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 30-40% of an old re-nickel, the balance a gray patina with scattered patches of fine pitting. Grips retain traces of varnish and with age wear and patina. Bore with distinct rifling and patches of moderate pitting.Auction Info
