Engraved D.R.G.M. Buchel System Single Shot Target Pistol.

Unserialized, .22 caliber, 14 1/2-inch octagonal barrel with protected fixed front sight and adjustable rear sight. Blued finish. Scroll engraved receiver, upper tang and triggerguard. Left side of action marked: SYST. BUCHEL / D.R.G.M. (crown) / B and (crown) / U German proof marks to right side of action. Dual triggers. Finely checkered hardwood pistolgrip and fore-end. Base of grip stamped: D.R.G.M. 209255. The Büchel System Pistol refers to a precision, single-shot, target pistol built around the Büchel "Ideal" system, a late 19th–early 20th century German Schützen-style action designed for extreme accuracy in match shooting.

Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina with some areas of thinning, handling wear and patches of pitting. Scuffs and dings present to wood. Action good. Bright bore. Tom Mixon Collection
