Smith & Wesson Second Model Schofield American Express Single Action Revolver.Serial no. 3257 [cylinder and butt], .45 S&W Schofield caliber, 5-inch ribbed barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Nickel-plated finish. Case-hardened hammer and trigger. Backstrap marked: AM. EX. CO. Smooth hardwood grip panels.
Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 50-60% finish with noticeable signs of flaking, handling wear and patches of pitting. Heavy scuffs, dings and bruising to grips. Action good. Lightly pitted bore.
