Description
Remington New Model Single Action Revolver.Serial no. 75607 [base of barrel], .44 caliber, 8-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. W and R inspector's marks to right side of frame and barrel, R and D to left side. Brass triggerguard stamped D. Smooth walnut grip panels.
Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 30-40% of a thinning finish, the balance a smooth grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Tracking line to cylinder. Scuffs and dings present to wood. Crisp action. Lightly pitted bore.
