Description
Remington New Model Single Action Revolver.Serial no. 16987 [barrel and frame under grips], .44 caliber, 8-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued finish. A and F stamped to left side of frame Inspector's mark A stamped to brass triggerguard. J stamped to right side of barrel and frame. Smooth walnut grip panels.
Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 20-30% finish with noticeable signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Tracking line to cylinder. Heavy scuffs and dings to grips. Action good, but a little tight. Strong bore.
