Description
Remington 1863 New Model Single Action Revolver.Serial no. 25062 [base of barrel], .36 caliber, 7 1/2-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Brass triggerguard. Smooth walnut grip panels.
Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 20-30% of a thinning finish, the balance a smooth grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Some vibrant case colors remaining. Dings and scuffs present to wood. Crisp action. Strong bore.
