Description
Nice Civil War Confederate Leech & Rigdon Single Action Percussion Revolver.Serial no. 625 [barrel, frame, triggerguard, cylinder and butt], .36 caliber, 7 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Marked on top barrel flat: LEECH & RIGDON CSA. Case-hardened hammer, frame and trigger. Brass gripstraps. Smooth walnut one-piece grip.
Note: According to Flayderman's Guide; only about 1,500 of these revolvers were manufactured. All on a C.S.A government contract.
Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Some faint case colors remaining. Noticeable dings and bruising present to wood. Action functions.
