Description
Lot of Two Consecutively Serialized Colt Blackpowder Series Reissue of 1851 Navy Percussion Revolvers.Serial no's. 12860 and 12861 [barrel, frame, triggerguard and cylinder], .36 calibers, 7 1/2-inch octagonal barrels with fixed front sights. Blued and case-hardened finishes. Etched cylinder scenes. COLTS / PATENT to left side of frame. Silver-plated brass gripstraps. Smooth walnut one-piece grips.
Condition: Very good. Overall showing very light handling wear and a few very fine patches of pitting. Noticeable thinning to silver plating. Scratches present to wood. Actions good. Bright bores. From the Collection of James Schubert.
