Factory Engraved Colt Single Action Army Revolver.

Serial no. 320709 [frame, triggerguard and butt], .45 caliber, 4 3/4-inch barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Nickel-plated finish. Elaborately scroll engraved barrel, cylinder, frame, backstrap and triggerguard. Two-line, three-date patent and Rampant Colt to left side of frame. Fancy raised grip panels with inlaid Colt medallions. Left panel also features: ESTADOS UNIDOS MEXICANOS 2-pesos gold coin and DOS Y MEDIO PESOS 1918 2-1/2 pesos gold coin. Carved longhorn head to right panel featuring 10kt horns and ring. VP proof mark and W on the left side of triggerguard. Manufactured in 1911. According to consignor notes, gun letters as factory.

Condition: Very good to excellent as period refinish. Overall showing light handling wear and very fine spots of pitting. Faint tracking line to cylinder. Few scattered scuffs and scratches present to grips. Action is tight and needs adjustment. Lightly pitted bore. Nelson A. Faerber Collection.
