Exceptional Cased Colt Model 1862 Police Percussion Revolver together with Accoutrements. Serial no. 191, .36 caliber, 6 1/2-inch barrel with single-line Hartford address. Blued finish. 5-shot cylinder. Case-hardened hammer, lever and frame. Frame marked: Colt's Patent. Silver-plated brass triggerguard and gripstrap assembly. Blued screws. Varnished one-piece walnut grips. Contained in original rose velvet-lined mahogany Colt partitioned case, together with accoutrements including: Colt's Patent two-cavity blued bullet mold with integral sprue cutter; brass and copper Colt eagle pattern powder flask; two shellacked packs of 5 skin cartridges; japanned Eley cap tin with green crisp label reading: Eley Bros/250/metal-lined/Caps,/Made expressly for/Colt's Pt./Belt and Pocket/Pistols./Manufacturers. London; small bag of extra caps; "L" shaped nipple wrench; lead bullet supply and case key. Condition: Excellent to mint. Retaining approximately 95-98% finish with scattered light bubbling on recoil shield and gripstrap. Vibrant case-hardening. Grips near mint. Action crisp. Accoutrements are all very good to excellent with light wear and patina present. Case excellent with very minor wear and scratches present on lid. Accoutrements all excellent to mint with light wear present.
