Description
Engraved Colt Single Action Army Revolver.Serial no. 80155 [frame, triggerguard and butt], .45 caliber, 4 3/4-inch barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Nickel-plated finish. Top of barrel marked: COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A. Three-line, three-date patent to left side of frame. .45 CAL stamped to left side of triggerbow. Smooth mother-of-pearl grip panels. Manufactured in 1882.
Condition: Very good as refinished and configured. Overall showing scattered signs of handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Scuffs and dings present to grips, with some loss at corners. Action ok. Moderately pitted bore.
