David Wade Harris Engraved Colt Frontier Six Shooter Single Action Revolver.Serial no. 305367, .44-40 caliber, 7 ½-inch round barrel with single line Hartford address and roll-stamped legend reading: "COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER". Nickel-plated finish. Bone grips. Lavishly engraved by master engraver David Wade Harris in a pattern called "Texas Cattle Brand" featuring a full coverage of famous Texas cattle brands appearing on the cylinder, barrel and grip strap intermingled with foliate scroll and stippling. Signed by Harris on the lower grip strap. Manufactured in 1908. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from David Wade Harris.
Provenance: Roger and Linda Carpenter Collection.
Condition: Excellent as refinished. Crisp action. Light pitting to bore.
