Description
Custom Engraved & Inscribed Joe Bowman Colt Single Action Army Revolver.Serial no. 266582 [frame, triggerguard and butt], .38 caliber, 7 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Top of barrel marked: COLTS PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A. Custom engraved with a frosted nickel finish. Two-line, three-date patent and Rampant Colt to left side of frame. Checkered hard rubber grip panels with Rampant Colt and E. Pluribus Unum eagle crest. Backstrap inscribed: JOE BOWMAN. Manufactured in 1905.
Condition: Very good as refinished. Overall showing handling wear, trivial staining spots and fine patches of pitting. Few scuffs present to grips. Action good. Bright bore. From Joe Bowman "The Straight Shooter Collection".
