Description
Composite Antique Colt Single Action Revolver. Serial no. removed from frame, triggerguard and only digits 27??? exist on butt. .44 caliber [stamped on bottom of barrel], 5 1/2-inch barrel with incorrect replaced sight and obliterated address. Period replacement aftermarket one-piece walnut grips. Condition: Poor. Metal showing grey age patina and scattered pitting overall. Barrel address and markings obliterated. Barrel shortened and sight replaced with incorrect dovetailed sight.. Ejector rod housing replaced with later issue housing. Gunsmith made ejector rod button. Cylinder with light tracking line and probably a later replacement. Cylinder pin and screws marred. Grips showing heavy wear marks and are later replacements. Action fair.Auction Info
