Description
Colt Third Generation Single Action Army Revolver.Serial no. 94471SA [frame], .357 caliber, 7 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Colt address to top of barrel. Blued and case-hardened finish. Two-line, three-date patent and Rampant Colt logo to left side of frame. Smooth mother-of-pearl grip panels with inlaid Colt medallions. Manufactured in 1986. This revolver, introduced in 1976, continues the legacy of the original SAA, which was first released in 1873. The Third Generation maintains the classic styling and function of the earlier First and Second Generation models but features some internal changes and modern production techniques.
Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 94-96% finish with some thinning to relief edges, light handling and fine spots of pitting. Grips excellent Crisp action. Bright bore. From the Collection of James Schubert.
