Colt Single Action Army Revolver.

Serial no. 246196 [frame, triggerguard and butt], .38 W.C.F. caliber, 4 3/4-inch barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Nickel-plated finish. Top of barrel marked: COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. / HARTFORD CT. U.S.A. Two-line, three-date patent and Rampant Colt logo to left side of frame. Stag grip panels. Manufactured in 1903. The SAA was adopted by the U.S. Army as its official service revolver in 1873 and was the standard sidearm for military personnel throughout the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Condition: Very good as refinished. Overall showing scattered signs of handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Tracking line to cylinder. Action good. Moderately pitted bore. Tom Mixon Collection
