Colt Single Action Army Revolver.

Serial no. 124330 [frame, triggerguard and butt], .45 caliber, 7 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Top of barrel marked: COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A. Three-line, three-date patent to left side of frame. .45 CAL. stamped to left side of triggerbow. Rampant Colt / E. Pluribus Unum Eagle checkered hard rubber grip panels. Lanyard ring. Manufactured in 1887.

Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 20-30% of a thinning finish, the balance a smooth grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Scratches and scuffs present to rubber. Lanyard added later. Crisp action. Moderately pitted bore.
