Colt Single Action Army Revolver.
Serial no. 144329, .44-40 caliber, 4 3/4-inch barrel with 2-line Hartford address. Nickel-plated finish. Barrel roll-stamped: COLT FRONTIER SIX SHOOTER. Left side of frame with 2-line, 3-date patent mark. Fire-blued screws. Black checkered hard rubber grips with rampant colt. Manufactured 1891. Sold along with Colt factory letter confirming configuration and shipping date. Property from the Estate of John R. Eckel, Sr.

Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 50-60% original nickel finish the balance fading and flaking to gray. Ejector rod tip is bent. Cylinder pin with tool marks. Hammer screw is marred. Good bore with some wear and fine pitting. Action crisp. Locks up very tight.
