Serial no. 68641, .45 caliber, 7 1/2-inch barrel. Address reading: COLT'S PT. F. A. CO HARTFORD CT. U.S.A. Nickel-plated finish. 3-line, 3-date patent. Front triggerbow marked: 45. Antique ivory grips. Manufactured 1881. Property from the Estate of John R. Eckel, Sr.

Condition: Good to very good. Retaining approximately 50-60% original nickel, the balance flaking to a dull gray patina. Scattered scratches and fine pitting. Grips with age shrinkage, losses and old repair at toe of right grip panel. Bore: Good showing some wear. Action crisp
