Description

Colt Single Action Army Revolver Shipped to Schulyer, Hartley and Graham.
Serial no. 37754, .45 caliber, 7 1/2-inch barrel with 1-line Hartford address. 3-line patent date. Rear trigger bow marked: 45 CAL. Black powder frame with donut ejector rod tip. Antique ivory grips. Manufactured 1877. Sold together with a copy of the Colt factory letter confirming an 1877 ship date to Schulyer, Hartley and Graham. Letter does not confirm stocks or barrel length. Letter states that the original finish was blue.

Condition: Fine. Retaining approximately 80-85% of an old re-nickel. Some patches of fading and peeling on barrel. Muzzle with patch of frosting and a burr. Tool marks to underside of barrel. Bore is very good with light wear and traces of fine pitting. Action is crisp.
