Description
Colt Model 1862 Police Single Action Revolver.Serial no. 36329 [barrel, frame, triggerguard and butt], .36 caliber, 5 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Top of barrel marked: ADDRESS COL. SAML COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA. .3 CAL. stamped to left side of triggerbow. Brass grip straps. Smooth one-piece walnut grip. Manufactured in 1867.
Condition: Very good as cleaned. Overall showing scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Noticeable scuffs and dings present to wood. Action functions. Moderately pitted bore. From the Sylver Schaller Collection.
