Colt Model 1861 Navy Percussion Revolver.

Serial no. 16459 [barrel, frame, triggerguard and butt], .36 caliber, 7 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Blued and case-hardened finish. Brass triggerguard and backstrap. Smooth walnut one-piece grip. Manufactured in 1863.

Condition: Good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with noticeable areas of handling wear and pitting. Heavy scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood, with some loss at corners. Action functions. Pitted bore.
