Colt Model 1860 Army First Model Richards Conversion Single Action Revolver. Serial no. 3815 (lug, frame, triggerguard, butt, cylinder and cylinder pin), .44 centerfire caliber, 7 3/4-inch barrel with New York address. Frame marked Colts/Patent. Triggerguard stamped .44 Cal. Naval engagement scene on cylinder. One-piece walnut grips. Condition: Fair to good as configured. Barrel has been shortened. Ejector rod showing period repair. Metal surfaces with a fine, smooth mottled gray patina. Crisp address and good cylinder scene. Mellow patina to brass. Grips are good with traces of varnish remaining, scattered dents and scratches. Small losses at toe of each grip panel. From the Michael Yeck Collection.
