Description
Colt Model 1860 Army First Model Richards Conversion Single Action Revolver. Serial no. 3815 (lug, frame, triggerguard, butt, cylinder and cylinder pin), .44 centerfire caliber, 7 3/4-inch barrel with New York address. Frame marked Colts/Patent. Triggerguard stamped .44 Cal. Naval engagement scene on cylinder. One-piece walnut grips. Condition: Fair to good as configured. Barrel has been shortened. Ejector rod showing period repair. Metal surfaces with a fine, smooth mottled gray patina. Crisp address and good cylinder scene. Mellow patina to brass. Grips are good with traces of varnish remaining, scattered dents and scratches.
