Description
Colt Model 1849 Pocket Single Action Revolver.Serial no. 46892 [barrel, frame, triggerguard, cylinder and buttplate], .31 caliber, 5-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front bead sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Etched cylinder scene. COLTS / PATENT stamped to left side of frame. Brass gripstraps. Smooth walnut one-piece grip. Sold along with unmarked .31 caliber bullet mold. Manufactured in 1852.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a bright grey patina with honest signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Scuffs and dings present to wood, with some loss at corners. Action good. Lightly pitted bore.
