Description
Colt Model 1849 Percussion Pocket Revolver. Serial no. 215533, .31 caliber, 5-inch barrel with New York address. All matching numbers including the wedge. 5 numeral cylinder stamping. Blued finish. Six-shot cylinder. Brass frame. Varnished walnut grips. Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 10-20% blue on barrel, the balance a mottled gray-brown patina. Frame with slight traces of case color. Guard and backstrap showing mellow patina to brass. Grips fine, retaining approximately 40-50% original varnish with edge wear and scattered dents.
