Description
Colt Model 1848 Baby Dragoon Single Action Revolver.Serial no. 4399 [barrel, frame, triggerguard and butt], .31 caliber, 3-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight. Case-hardened frame, marked COLT's / PATENT to left side. Brass gripstraps. Smooth walnut one-piece grip. Manufactured in 1848.
Condition: Good. Finish a smooth grey patina with noticeable signs of age, handling wear and pitting. Scattered scuffs and dings present to wood. Action good. Moderately pitted bore.
