Description
Colt Frontier Six Shooter Single Action Revolver.Serial no. 51725 [frame, triggerguard and butt], .44 C.F. caliber, 7 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front blade sight and frame notch rear sight. Nickel-plated finish. Three-line, three-date patent to left side of frame. Mother-of-pearl grip panels. Manufactured in 1879. Property of a West Texas collector.
Condition: Fine. Retaining approximately 60-70% finish with noticeable signs of wear, flaking and pitting. Scattered scuffs and dings to grips. Loss to bottom left corner of left grip panel. Action tight. Moderately pitted bore.
