Description
Colt Conversion Single Action Revolver.Serial no. 1670 [barrel, frame, triggerguard and butt], .44 caliber, 6 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Blued and case-hardened finish. Top of barrel marked: ADDRESS COL. SAML COLT NEW-YORK U.S. AMERICA. Left side of frame stamped: COLTS / PATENT. Brass triggerguard. Smooth walnut one-piece grip.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina with signs of handling wear, age and pitting. Wedge screw absent. Dings and scuffs present to wood, some loss at corners. Action functions. Moderately pitted bore. Tom Mixon Collection
