Colt Bisley Model Single Action Revolver.

Serial no. 189519 [frame, triggerguard and butt], .38 W.C.F. caliber, 4 3/4-inch barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Top of barrel marked: COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. / HARTFOR CT. U.S.A. Two-line, three-date patent and Rampant Colt to left side of frame. Checkered hard rubber grip panels with embossed Rampant Colt logos. Manufactured in 1899.
The Colt Bisley Model Revolver, introduced in 1894, was a variant of the Colt Single Action Army (SAA) revolver, designed specifically for target shooting. Named after the famous Bisley shooting range in Surrey, England, this model was created to cater to the growing popularity of target competitions during the late 19th century.

Condition: Good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Grips are nice. Crisp action. Strong bore. From the Collection of James Schubert.
