Description
Colt 1851 Navy Percussion Revolver. Serial No. 111881 (all the number eights are consistently stamped upside down), .36 caliber, 7½-inch octagonal barrel with New York address. All visible numbers matching. Naval cylinder scene. Colt patent on the left side of the frame. Brass triggerguard and gripstrap assembly. Varnished walnut grips. Condition: Good. Metal overall grey with scattered areas of brown patina and minor scratches. Cylinder scene is rather faint. Grips with modest wear. Contemporarily modified with the addition of a lanyard ring.
