Description
Colt 1849 Pocket Model Percussion Revolver.Serial no. 51725 [barrel, frame, triggerguard, cylinder and butt], .31 caliber, 4-inch octagonal barrel with fixed front sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Etched cylinder scene. COLT'S / PATENT to left side of frame. Smooth walnut one-piece grip. Manufactured in 1852.
Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina with scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Scuffs and scratches present to wood. Action good. Moderately pitted bore. The Bill Bentham Collection.
