Description
Boxed Colt Third Generation Single Action Army Revolver.Serial no. SA28432 [frame], .44 caliber, 5 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front blade sight and frame notch rear sight. Nickel-plated finish. Two-line, three-date patent and Rampant Colt to left side of frame. Smooth walnut grip panels. Contained in factory pasteboard box with foam inserts and literature. Manufactured in 1979.
The Third Generation SAA began production in 1976 and continues to be produced by Colt, though there have been some interruptions in production over the years.
Condition: Excellent. Overall showing light handling wear. Crisp action. Bright bore. Some tears and storage wear present to box. From the Collection of James Schubert.
