Sheriff's Model in 44-40, 1 of 2 in Sale.
Boxed Colt Sheriffs Model Single Action Revolver with Factory Letter.Serial no. SA69816, .44-40 caliber, 3-inch barrel with fixed front blade sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Smooth ivory grip panels with gold-plated Colt medallions. Contained in original pasteboard box with literature and caution tag. Sold along with Colt factory letter confirming serial, caliber, finish, barrel length and grips. Shipped to RSR Wholesale Guns West in Sparks, Nevada on October 21, 1986.
Note: Offered in this sale is another Boxed Colt Sheriffs Model less than 400 numbers apart from this one.
Condition: NIB. Large tear to box and storage wear to edges.
