Boxed Colt Blackpowder Signature Series Third Model Walker Dragoon Transitional Percussion Revolver.Serial no. 1148D [barrel, frame and triggerguard] and 148D [cylinder and butt], .44 caliber, 7 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front Blued finish. Case-hardened lever, hammer and frame. Etched cylinder scene. COLTS / PATENT to left side of frame. Silver-plated gripstraps. Smooth walnut one-piece grip. SAM COLT inscribed to backstrap. Contained in fitted factory pasteboard box with literature and outer cardboard box. Sold along with handwritten receipt from Michael Yurkovich, dated June 29, 2009.
Condition: Excellent. Overall showing very light handling wear. Action crisp. Bore bright. Light storage wear present to boxes. From the Collection of James Schubert.
