Ben Lane Engraved Remington Single Action Army Revolver.Serial no. 22161[frame under grips], .44 caliber, 5 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Nickel-plated finish. Elaborately scroll and floral leaf engraved. Fire-blued screws and trigger. Engravers 'BL' logo just in front of triggerguard. Triggerbow stamped 44. Smooth walnut grip panels. Left panel features shield escutcheon inscribed: DO NOT FRET MY / FRIEND MY FRIEND / WHEN DANGER COMES / BE BRAVE, YOUR AIM BE / QUICK MY BULLET TRUE / SHALL LAY HIM IN HIS GRAVE. Lanyard ring.
