Description
2nd Generation Colt Buntline Special Model Single Action Revolver.Serial no. 45990SA, .45 caliber, 12-inch barrel with fixed front sight and frame notch rear sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Two-line, three-date patent and Rampant Colt logo to left side of frame. VP proof mark and V to left side of triggerguard. Smooth walnut grip panels. Left side of barrel reads COLT BUNTLINE SPECIAL= .45. Manufactured in 1967.
Condition: Very good to excellent. Overall showing light handling wear and very fine patches of pitting. Few minor scratches present to wood. Action crisp. Strong bore. Nelson A. Faerber Collection.
