Description
Toriimatsu Second Series Pistol.
Wartime Japanese Type 14 Nambu Semi-Automatic Pistol.Serial no. 60892, 8mm Nambu caliber, 4 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Blued finish Nagoya Toriimatsu proofs. Grooved walnut grip panels. Lanyard ring. [Elongated trigger]. Aluminum based magazine numbered: 838. Manufactured in October, 1944.
Provenance: Late Estate of Hiroshi Harada of Piedmont.
Condition: Good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with noticeable signs of handling wear, thinning and patches of pitting. Scattered dings present to wood. Action good. Strong bore.
